Covering the whole Latin-American cosmetics market, in-cosmetics will be held in São Paulo, October 5 and 6

São Paulo, May 2016 – A global brand of events exclusively for cosmetics industry raw materials, in-cosmetics Latin America has widened its scope beyond Brazil. This third edition of the Exhibition takes place October 5 and 6 in São Paulo’s Expo Center Norte, organized by Reed Exhibitions, and is part of the international in-cosmetics group, which also holds events in Europa and Asia.

As in-cosmetics Brasil, the 2015 Exhibition played host to 184 exhibitors from over 40 countries and to over 2760 visitors. Now, following a re-positioning of the brand and a wider spectrum of exhibitors and visitors, the organizers’ expectations are even higher. “We hope to bring together 3 thousand professionals who will be in contact with around a thousand products of 200 exhibiting brands,” says Daniel Zanetti, exhibition organizer. He further mentioned new attractions such as the FormulationLab, hour-long interactive sessions led by sector specialists inside a fully functioning laboratory. Participation is free and only for R&D professionals of companies manufacturing finished products.

This edition also offers participants the Innovation Zone, which will exclusively present new raw materials launched within the last six months in the beauty and personal care industries. Here is also to be found the Formulation Display, a unique Exhibition space where visitors can test the result of these ingredients in a formulation.

In the same space are also demonstrations by Mintel, aiming to offer participants an unequalled sensorial experience via daily sessions, curated by one of the world’s leading suppliers of market research. This is a unique area of the Exhibition that showcases finished products and demonstrates innovatory products from all over the world.

Tandem events

 In addition, the organizers offer programs such as ITEHPEC – Institute of Technology and Studies of Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics – Workshops, which present solutions for the daily challenges faced by Research and Development, Tests and Regulations professionals. The workshops are given by experienced and renowned professionals. Presentations of Marketing Trends are also part of the event, involving the most recent research data, case studies and insights to help Marketing professionals develop the next generation of products. These are presented by such companies as Euromonitor, Mintel and Kline&Company. In the Technical Seminars, exhibitors share detailed information about the development of raw materials and formulation techniques, with a focus on professionals connected to formulation, tests and regulations.

in-cosmetics LatinAmerica brings together manufacturers and distributors of raw materials and ingredients and suppliers of systems and software, in addition to researchers and those involved in tests for this sector, on a global scale. In line with the breakdown of the last edition, 47% of the exhibiting companies showing at in-cosmetics are from North and South America; 32% are from Europe and 20% from Asia.
