Alex obtained his PhD in Microbiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center  and has conducted microbiology research funded by the European Molecular Biology or within international institutions such as INSERM, INRA, Johns Hopkins University or University of California. He leads now the microbiology research and discovery activities at Biomillenia.

Allison Garlet, MSc

Allison Garlet works for BASF’s Bioactive ingredients in Tarrytown, NY. She has a BSc in Biology from Seton Hall University and a MSc in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University, with a focus in microbial physiology, biofilms, and skin microbiomics research. She was awarded the SCC’s Young Scientist Award at the 75th Annual Scientific Meeting and Showcase in 2021.

Maxence Desjonquères

Maxence has 10 years of experience in marketing and sales of products interacting with the microbiome, under a variety of regulatory status and targeting multiple indications.  Over the last 2 years he joined Biomillenia and further developed his knowledge of microbiota related services and high throughput microbiology.

Olivia has 20 years of experience in the cosmetic industry. She studied business & healthcare law before specialising in regulatory affairs. In 2019, Olivia founded Bloom Regulatory Ltd, which provides pragmatic and expert regulatory and strategic support to cosmetics companies.
