Mauricio Guzmán Alonso is an industrial chemist with a master´s in Marketing and Business Management. He is also a product safety assessment consultant. He has 15 years’ experience in R&D and innovation in the cosmetic industry. He has contributed several papers in congresses including IFSCC, ISBS, Colamiqc and Farmacosmetica and has 25 publications in scientific journals. Mauricio received the Jose Joaquin Perez Villalba Prize at the XX Colamiqc 2011 for the best paper in natural ingredients and the Maison G Navarre Prize in the XXII IFSCC conference in Brazil, 2013. He joined Belcorp in 2007 and currently works as a Research Analyst for skincare and personal care categories at Belcorp Colombia.
