I’m a “Paulistana”, from São Paulo, Brazil and my professional journey has been marked by a variety of experiences in both national and multinational companies. With a background in sales, marketing, events and people management, I’ve actively participated in event organization in various capacities, from small corporate meetings to large international trade shows like Automec by RX Brazil and now in-cosmetics Latin America.
What is the biggest surprise in the job so far?
The most surprising aspect of my job has been the incredible diversity of topics and people I encounter daily. From innovative product developments to engaging with professionals from various cultural backgrounds, the scale and breadth of experiences have been truly exhilarating.
What are you looking forward to the most in your role this year?
I’m most excited about delving deeper into cutting-edge trends and innovations within the cosmetics industry. Connecting with industry experts, exploring new market opportunities, and contributing to the growth and success of our projects brings me immense personal fulfilment and excitement.
What is your favourite personal care item or ingredient?
My favourite personal care item is sunscreen. As someone who loves soaking up the sun, I prioritize protecting my skin. Sunscreen not only safeguards against harmful UV rays but also allows me to enjoy outdoor activities without worrying about sun damage.

A fun fact about me is that I absolutely adore soaking up the sun! Whether it’s lounging at the beach or simply basking in the warmth of a sunny day, you’ll often find me enjoying the great outdoors. And of course, I never forget to apply my favorite personal care item—sunscreen!

With roots in both Seoul and California, I bring a wealth of PR and marketing experience from agencies.
What is the biggest surprise in the job so far
With a rich array of partners, both internal and external, I enthusiastically undertake the task of organizing a meeting that aligns seamlessly with all time zones.
What are you looking forward to the most in your role this year?
I aim to make all my visitors tech-savvy at this year’s in-cosmetics Korea 2024 with the help of the new app.
What is your favourite personal care item or ingredient?
Having taken on this role, I find myself in need of the ultimate anti-aging beauty ingredient: Vitamin E.

I am the proud owner of three little dogs: Zoe, Choco, and Coco. They were all rescued, with two even making the journey from California.
Paula Graham

Tell us about yourself
I was born and raised in London but both of my parents are from Ghana. Before I moved to the in-cosmetics sales team, I was an Event Executive for 2.5 years, working on in-cosmetics Korea, the ILTM Portfolio (travel) and The London Book Fair. I am also currently part of the social club and the REACH dimension leader for the RX All-in Employee Resource Group; with the hopes of boosting knowledge about diversity and inclusivity across the company.
What is the biggest surprise in the job so far?
Working on in-cosmetics is like working with your favourite family members, but you only get to see them a couple of times a year. The whole team is spread out across the world but we are able to work efficiently and cohesively, and when we go to a show it is like no time has been lost. This speaks volumes to the sense of community all of the show teams have built for the in-cosmetics Group.
What are you looking forward to the most in your role this year?
The last time I went to in-cosmetics Global, I was an event executive and I went there to support exhibitors. I am looking forward to going to the show as part of the main team and seeing the show from a sales point of view.
What is your favourite personal care item or ingredient?
It’s very simple, but it has to be Vaseline or a lip oil. Need shiny moisturised lips at all times!
