Pre-registration for in-cosmetics Korea 2022, the only exhibition dedicated to personal care ingredients in Korea, is now open.

A must-see trade show and a platform for innovation, in-cosmetics Korea helps shape the rapidly changing cosmetics industry through innovative ingredients from global manufacturers and identifying trends through its insightful educational programme.

Taking place on 13-15 July and organised by Reed Exhibitions in collaboration with K-Fairs, in-cosmetics Korea will be held at COEX, Hall C in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

Sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare and celebrating its 7th anniversary, the event will gather over 150 companies ranging from suppliers of ingredients for skincare, suncare, colour cosmetics, haircare, fragrances and oral care applications as well as related services and consultancies.

The event also gives raw material suppliers and personal care creators the opportunity to test, share knowledge and technological advances. Along with global companies including ADEKA, CQV, DKSH, DSM, Evonik, Merck, Honeywell , BRB and SEPPIC  to name a few, in-cosmetics Korea will welcome a range of exciting first time exhibitors.

These include Ace Emzyme, who specialise in natural and organics, special enzymes and applied microorganisms; Jinwoo Trading, who manufacture pearl and glitter as well as fluorescent pigments and natural ingredients. Also making their debut will be Jupiter, who produce 100% COSMOS-certified natural emulsifiers as well as the National Institute of Biological Resources, who provide guidance on related laws and consulting for private companies.

Testament to the appeal of the Korean market is the phenomenal growth in the range of international exhibitors, from 12% in 2021 to a predicted 40% this year. This represents a great opportunity for global players to penetrate the local market and for local manufacturers to be exposed to new ingredients.

This increase is also currently reflected in the highest early visitor registration figures in the history of the show – over 1,000 in the first week since registration opened.

In the Innovation Zone, visitors will enjoy a showcase of new ingredients that have been released within the last 8 months as well as the Best Ingredient Awards ceremony, with the star products and winners to be unveiled at the show on 13 July.

Plus, at in-cosmetics Korea’s sought-after K-Beauty Inspiration Zone, renowned experts for analysis of consumer trends and market statistics Mintel will be delivering live demos subjected ‘K-beauty products across the APAC region’ and provide an analysis of the most inspired  products to watch in the skincare and make-up each categories.

Sarah Gibson, Exhibition Director, in-cosmetics Korea said “With Covid-19 restrictions easing in Korea and around the world, we are very much looking forward to welcoming our exhibitors and visitors to a must-attend, international event with renewed energy to satisfy both domestic and international participants”.

Registration at the show will be charged at USD 20 but pre-registration is now open and free at www.in-cosmetics.com/korea
